Intro to the Art and Science of Ayurvedic Cooking
Discovering
Your Body Type: These classes include sumptuous vegetable
dishes, rice preparations, delicious protein rich soups known as dal,
and Indian condiments such as yogurt raita, and various chutneys used
to enhance the flavor of the meal.
In
this retreat you will learn exquisite vegetarian Indian recipes featuring
exotic tastes, aromas, textures, and colors that are simple to cook.
You do not have to be a vegetarian. You can add these healthy recipes
to your menu or eat vegetarian a few days a week. It is a healthy choice.
These
subtle spices, aromas, and recipes, can help us play a vital role in
bringing us to a deeper level of fulfillment and satisfaction, and can
help rid us of our cravings and overeating.
Discovering
Your Body Type: You
will learn that each of us fits into one of three body types (Vata,
Pitta, and Kapha). With this knowledge you will be able to prepare and
